Ulang Terms & Conditions

By creating an account and using Ulang, you agree to these terms. Ulang is a billing technology provider, not a bank, not a lender, and not a financial institution.

1. Definitions

  • Ulang / Platform: Billing automation software provided by PT Ulang Teknologi Indonesia.
  • Merchant: Business/individual that bills customers via Ulang.
  • Customer: Party receiving the bill and making payment.
  • PSP: Third-party payment service provider (e.g., Flip) for QRIS/VA and transfers.
  • Wallet / Ledger: Internal balance record of collected funds before withdrawal.
  • Installment Feature: Scheduled payment tracking and invoicing.

2. Services

Ulang provides invoice creation, subscriptions, installments, scheduled Email/WhatsApp reminders, QRIS/VA payment acceptance via PSP, and balance tracking with manual withdrawals.

3. Account and KYC

  • Merchant must be a lawful entity/individual under Indonesian law.
  • KYC documents (ID, tax number, permits) may be requested. Ulang may reject/freeze accounts if documents are invalid or illegal activity is suspected.
  • Merchant must secure credentials and ensure only authorized access.

4. Installment Feature

  • Only for scheduling and invoicing. No lending or financing.
  • Credit risk is 100% borne by Merchant; Ulang does not cover defaults.
  • Automated reminders only; no field collection service.
  • System may block subsequent terms if previous ones default (configurable).

5. Payments, Wallet, and Withdrawals

  • Payments are facilitated by PSP (Flip). Merchant grants Ulang limited authority to receive and disburse funds.
  • Wallet balance is a settlement claim, not a guaranteed deposit, and bears no interest.
  • Withdrawals are manual to verified Merchant accounts; subject to bank/PSP cut-offs (typically T+1).
  • Dormant funds policy: if >90 days, Ulang may transfer to the registered account or temporarily pause acceptance until resolved.
  • Ulang may delay/hold funds for suspected fraud, AML/CTF, or regulator/PSP instruction.
  • Limits/velocity may apply per transaction, daily, or per channel based on Ulang/PSP risk policy.

6. Fees and Taxes

  • Platform Fee: Flat per successful transaction (promo Rp 500, normal Rp 1,000; locked per account for early stage).
  • MDR QRIS/VA: Borne by Merchant per PSP tariff.
  • Withdrawal Fee: Charged per withdrawal request based on platform/PSP configuration (e.g., Rp 2,000).
  • Sales taxes are borne by Merchant; Ulang issues tax invoices for Platform Fees.

7. Prohibited Use

Prohibited to bill illegal goods/services, narcotics, weapons, gambling/ponzi, pornography, or anything violating Indonesian law. Ulang may freeze funds and report to authorities.

8. Privacy and Security

Ulang complies with data protection rules and applies reasonable commercial security controls. Merchant must secure access credentials. Aggregate/anonymous data may be used to improve the service.

9. Service/Fee Changes

Ulang may update features or fee structure. Material changes will be notified; continued use constitutes acceptance.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • Service is provided “as is” and “as available”.
  • Ulang is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
  • Maximum liability is capped at total Platform Fees paid in the last 3 months.

11. Governing Law

Governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes resolved via BANI arbitration or Jakarta District Court (as designated by Ulang).
